The Cat Scratched The iPad. What About Screen Protectors?
Posted by admin on 23 Jul 2010 | Tagged as: Cats Small Talk
Although my cat is gray, I only see black when I look at her these days. If I told you she managed to scratch my new iPad, you’d understand why gray is the new black. Seriously, I was playing with the iPad, when somebody rang at the door. I went to see who was there, but unfortunately I left the iPad on the coffee table, with the screen up. I have no idea what my cat thought that was, but I found her all over it, scratching it as if she wanted to dig in search of some hidden treasure.
I’m sorry I don’t have a picture of the scratch, but I couldn’t bear to see it on my blog. It’s enough I’m seeing it in real life each time I use my iPad. But do you know what’s the worst of all? I had just ordered a great screen protector and it was to be delivered to me in a couple of days. I was impressed with its features, as it seemed to be extremely resistant, just what one needs when cats make the rule in a home. Here’s the thing, if you want to read more about it: http://i.padaccessories.info/ipad-screen-protector/. They say it’s made from a military grade material. I suppose this is better than cat-grade, so the kitty wouldn’t have had a chance to do onto my iPad what she just did.
Anyway, I hope that screen protector would somehow hide a little the ugly scratch. If not, I’ll see what I’ll do next. Meanwhile, the only one in our home who still has sweet dreams is… The Cat!!!

One more thought before I go: it’s still good I have a cat and not a squirrel. The scratch would have been much worse, I think. Just look at these claws:
